Unbecoming
(2025-Current)
My artistic practice explores identity not as a fixed state, but as a process of continuous formation, deconstruction, and dissolution. Working from the notion of the “in-between space,” I focus on moments where the subject remains unresolved, suspended between what it once was and what it cannot yet become.

My work is shaped by personal experiences of transition—such as shifts in professional identity, transformation through motherhood, and the trauma of perinatal loss. These are approached not as narratives, but as ontological ruptures that disrupt linear continuity. The body emerges as a visual trace of endurance.

Through monotype, collage, and mixed media—using materials such as ink, rope, and glue—I explore materiality as a carrier of fragility and failure. The work invites the viewer to engage with uncertainty, absence, and flux, recognizing deconstruction as an active and generative state.
