ARTIST BIO

Dionysia Adamopoulou is a visual artist and writer based in Athens. Her practice explores identity as an unstable and evolving condition, working through painting, works on paper, mixed media, and text.

Since 2016, she has been developing her artistic practice through sustained studio research and study. She took painting and drawing classes with N. Christoforakis, E. Giannakopoulou, and N. Koniaris (2022–2025) and is currently studying at the Athens School of Fine Arts. She also holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and institutions in Greece and abroad and is included in private collections. In 2024, she published "Τα χρώματα της μητρότητας", a book combining visual art and poetry, marking an early stage of her research into identity transformation through motherhood. Her texts have been published in literary journals and anthologies and have received honorary distinctions.
