About me

Dionysia Adamopoulou is a visual artist based in Athens, whose primary medium of expression is painting. She often integrates elements of poetry into her works, creating narrative compositions that draw from personal experiences and explore themes such as motherhood, memory, and identity.

​

 

She has participated in 18 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, with her works included in private collections. She holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business and has apprenticed under visual artists such as E. Giannakopoulou, N. Koniaris and N. Christoforakis. She has also attended seminars on art teaching, cultural heritage management, illustration, and art therapy.

Her work includes the poetry collection “Shades of Motherhood”, where poetry and visual arts coexist. She is a member of the Central Greece Visual Arts Association "SKETKE" and the Visual Art Association "Mesogaia" and has received honorable mentions in national poetry competitions. Her poems have been published in four collective volumes.
